10 WWE Champions With The Worst Finishing Moves
8. Jinder Mahal - Khallas
There are a multitude of reasons why Jinder Mahal never really got over, even though WWE and Vince McMahon did everything they could to try and make him a main event level player. Sure, even the less cynical fans could see it was nothing more than a push towards the lucrative Indian market, but still, despite being offered these opportunities, it just never clicked.
Let's face it, Jinder Mahal is a steady hand in the ring but hardly electrifying. He is similar to The Miz, just without the skill and polish on the mic. In the modern world of wrestling, being bang average at pretty much everything just won't do it.
It also doesn't help that the Khallas is a dreadful finisher.
The Full Nelson Slam itself is a pretty nifty transition move, and in the early 2000s, the late Test nailed a pretty smart looking one. With the Khallas, the 'Modern Day Maharaja' has a needless arm hook, proceeded by a pretty tame Half Nelson Slam. It wasn't exactly a devastating finisher by any means, and at least the comparable JBL took people's heads off with his Clothesline from Hell.
Ultimately, despite wins over the likes of Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura, the former 'Man of Peace' never cemented himself as a top guy and his run at the top was less impactful than the Khallas in the GIF above.
