10 WWE Champions With The Worst Finishing Moves

Is there a less impactful looking finisher than ZigZag? Has Dolph Ziggler even won that many matches with it?

There is always a strong case that the 'Show Off' should have been given a bigger run at the top of the card, and like The Miz before him, Ziggler is a hell of an in-ring performer who has solidified himself as a steady hand in the ring. There was a reason why most NXT call-ups went up against Dolph first, almost as a litmus test for the main roster.

Ziggler is an exceptional bumper and his athleticism means he can move around the ring with such energy that it's impossible not to think he should have a slightly more engaging moveset. The Famouser/Fameasser is a decent signature move, and his superkick just increases the HBK comparisons.

But the ZigZag is such a non-event as a finisher, it's no wonder it's never really held any credibility. It's 'from outta nowhere' potential just pales in comparison to a move like the RKO, and it just goes to show how much an excellent finisher can elevate a star when you look at Ziggler compared to Orton.

Remember, it took TWO ZigZags put a very injured Alberto Del Rio away during that momentous MITB cash-in, but for all the snap Ziggler tries to muster, the move just looks limp.
