10 WWE Couples Who Found Happiness In Wrestling

3. CM Punk And AJ Lee

Whenever you see AJ Lee on WWE TV these days you usually hear "CM Punk" chants in honor of her husband, who happened to quit WWE back in January. That's because some fans know they got married while others are probably wondering why those fans are chanting for him when he's not even there. The couple got married in June 2014 after dating for about a year. The couple was involved in a storyline in 2012 when CM Punk was feuding with Daniel Bryan, who was the on screen boyfriend of AJ Lee. Since Lee was booked as a crazy chick, she ended up making out with Punk several times too. At the time Punk was dating Lita, but it obviously sparked something between them. CM Punk has had a history in the wrestling business as a bit of a playboy. He's dated so many divas that people have made jokes that the CM in his name really stands for "chick magnet" more than anything else. His rumored relationships have included Daffney, Traci Brooks (both of them pre-WWE), Maria, Lita, Kelly Kelly (let's just say she got around), Lita again, Beth Phoenix, Lita again and finally AJ Lee. There may be others we don't know about too. Aj Lee Gives Lita A Note 6665 When people found out Punk was marrying AJ it was a bit of a surprise because Punk really wasn't the marrying type. It was also a popular gossip item because AJ idolized Lita and even was shown meeting her on television over a decade ago, yet here she was marrying the guy that Lita dated a few times. Once again, anything can happen in wresting. Now that Punk is out of WWE and he may never return, there are rumors that AJ will leave too. She's still only 27 years old, but Punk's made enough money that they could both retire without really working again. Maybe they want to have a family. Don't be surprised if she's gone when her deal is up with WWE, whenever that is. There are also people that hope that she can convince Punk to come back to WWE too. You never know.
