10 WWE Disasters Rescued With One Tiny Change

1. Becky Lynch Stops Berating Fans

Go back and watch Becky Lynch's post-SummerSlam 2018 promo on the 21 August edition of SmackDown. There, Becky blamed the fans for her behaviour on the pay-per-view and said they were responsible for that attack on Charlotte Flair.

People cheered her anyway, which was problematic.

Becky knew she couldn't continue fighting uphill against rising support, so she stopped ragging on crowds when she had the mic. That smart decision led to the most successful run of her entire career. Lynch turned the heat onto WWE itself, and 'The Man' character was born a few months later.

Lynch subbing out the audience blame game for stoic defiance worked a treat, and it cannot be overstated just how important that was to her push. 'The Man' wouldn't have been anywhere near as rewarding had Becks continued whining like a spoiled brat.
