Unfortunately the second Diva Search winner did not fare much better than the first. Ashley joined WWE just as Christy Hemme was winding down her year with the company in the second half of 2005. She would last nearly three years with WWE, but shed never get the chance to wear a title. Although Ashley never won the Womens Championship, she played a role in three straight WrestleMania womens matches: she was a pawn in the Mickie James/Trish Stratus storyline at WrestleMania XXII, fought Melina unsuccessfully for the title at Mania XXIII and tagged with Maria in the Bunnymania match against Beth Phoenix and Melina at WrestleMania XXIV. Ashley also competed on Survivor: China and posed for the cover of Playboy. Ashley is one of those women who never really gelled in the ring as a competitor, but she proved her value to WWE in other ways.
