8. Ilja Dragunov Vs. Seth Rollins
On the subject of a potential dose of intense dream violence, the day Ilja Dragunov finally makes the jump up to the main roster will be one that leaves much of the Raw and SmackDown rosters trembling in their boots.
Outside of the aforementioned GUNTHER - a star Dragunov has already produced disgusting magic with in developmental a few times over the years - there isn't a performer in the company who forces you to believe in how gruelling and vicious this bumping world is more than the current NXT Champion.
Combine that pretty much unmatched passion, skill, and intensity with an in-form Seth Rollins - who seems to produce his very best work when paired with a performer determined to make his body look like one of his multi-coloured jackets - and you have the recipe for one of the most spectacular dream fights of 2024.
Dumping Dragunov right into a high-profile feud with the current World Heavyweight Champion would be the preferred and admirably bold call. But even just sending Rollins back down to NXT for another ratings popping fight next year would be an accepted alternative here, if it means fans get to watch 'The Mad Dragon' and 'The Visionary' beat the crap out of each other for 20 savage minutes.
