7. The Best Is Yet To Come?

The Miz and Maryse delivered lovely news about their growing family just seconds before Shane McMahon shimmied on out to grab the sliver spoon from the unborn baby's mouth, but 'The Money' couldn't be faulted for his effort an another unexpectedly enjoyable effort from the Miz/Mac experiment.

With an eye on the eventual heel turn, it's been easy to avoid the fact that these two became hugely likeable in spite of themselves. Miz in particular seemed to be enjoying portraying the babyface he always appeared capable of, and has looked good as the mopper-upper either side of his partner's big daft b*llocks.

Upon losing a decent sprint (and their titles) to Jimmy and Jey Uso, the former Champions even appeared to physically tee up 'The A-Lister's return to the dark side as they left arm-in-arm, but a quiet fade-out from the scene ensured the team's survival for another day.

Final WrestleMania pit-stop Fastlane will take place in The Miz' hometown of Cleveland - could the company be saving their severance for then? At least with SmackDown Live's tag belts no longer part of the picture, the two can set their targets on each other for the 'Show Of Shows'.
