10 WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 Impulse Reactions

8. Andrade Vs Humberto Carrillo

Humberto Carrillo wasn't wearing the Power Rangers entrance gear at Elimination Chamber, as if to remind Andrade just how long his 30-day absence really was. The United States Champion's Wellness Policy infraction could have destroyed this programme, but WWE's decision to insert Angel Garza into the conflict was inspired.

It kept Zelina Vega on television working alongside Garza as a surrogate for Andrade, sold the impact of the dreaded concrete floor DDT and lit a fire under Carrillo that put him in a far superior position this time around that he had been in their prior encounters.

This match was stellar at points - Andrade's wicked spinning elbow triggered a wild start while fans popped for the high spots and revealed a sense of genuine investment when the Challenger dodged the dreaded floor fate with a rafter-shaking dive/moonsault combo.

Andrade retained with a handful of tights following a sequence of roll-ups in a match better than if it had taken place on Raw...but the finish implied we'll get that too.
