Somehow, Trish's fate was still better than Natalya's.

Her humiliation was contained to a one-off segment, whereas Nattie had to leak gas all over the place for months in 2012 and try (oh how she tried) to brave face the silliness of it all. The one-note gag saw her fart when doing squats with partner Beth Phoenix, fart when she was asking management for opportunities and more.

Quite how WWE managed to restrain themselves and not rename her Natalya Neid-fart is anyone's guess. It was all so senseless too. Who was supposed to get over here? Were fans supposed to feel sympathy for Nattie? Were her peers meant to receive plaudits when they eventually stopped acknowledging her tooting?

Toilet humour can be funny, but WWE's approach is often painful. They beat the same joke into the ground until it's cringeworthy, not amusing, and then they beat it some more until fans are screaming for them to stop. Also, The Great Khali started romancing Natalya after this. Draw your own conclusions.
