10 WWE Employees That Are In The Wrong Job

2. Ryan Ward Should Be Promoted To Writing For The Main Roster

Ryan Ward isn't someone that pretty much any wrestling fan knows about. He doesn't make appearances on television, and his face isn't plastered all over the news. However, with that said, he is one of the most important people in the entire company right now, doing a tremendous job at the one thing he is being paid to do... being the one and only writer for NXT. It is becoming popular to say that NXT is the best wrestling show on all of television these days. The talent level on the roster is insane, the wild fans of Full Sail are always providing for a great atmosphere, and storylines make sense from start to finish. With the writing for the main roster shows seriously lacking in quality, it couldn't hurt to promote Ward to help write for Raw and/or Smackdown. There are two major catches here, though. By all accounts, Ward is the sole person writing for NXT. Yes, he has a superior he has to run things through (supposedly Triple H), but the vision of NXT is all his. With the main roster shows, you have a group of people, each with their own ideas and agendas, writing things, and then Vince McMahon and his notorious mood swings change all of those things at the last minute, anyway. Perhaps the addition of Ward, who is proving to be someone that can listen to the fans, would greatly improve Raw and/or Smackdown's output. The other catch is the state of NXT if Ward were to be writing for the main roster. Surely, he couldn't do both, could he? It would be great if he could, but if not, NXT would need to be on the lookout for someone who could fill his spot, and then you run the risk of someone coming in who can't do it very well, and then the quality of the NXT product plummets. High risk, high reward. While we're on the subject of Creative Teams and people who can write wrestling shows...
