10 WWE Entrance Themes That Were Originally For Someone Else

9. Droz/Prince Albert's 'Rock On' (Man Mountain Rock)

Man Mountain Rock didn't last long in 1995; played by former WCW star Maxx Payne, the character was supposed to thrill fans with his electric guitar skills, but would be gone by the end of the year.

That posed a problem, because in-house WWF music man Jim Johnston had written a tune just for the head banging wrestler called 'Rock On'. A chugging riff backed by drums, the tune was designed to reflect Man Mountain's abilities as a musician and probably allow him to solo over the top of it with his WWF logo guitar if he could.

Years later, the company brought back 'Rock On' and attached it to both Droz and Prince Albert.

The tag-team used the exact same theme as Man Mountain Rock had around four years earlier. There were no changes to the song whatsoever, and all the WWF did was put a new Tron video showing footage of Droz and Albert over the top of the pedestrian riff.

With the change in audience from 'New Generation' to 'Attitude', it's doubtful anybody but the most hardcore of fans noticed.
