7. Money In The Bank
Bryans Yes catchphrase was born out of his World Heavyweight Championship reign, which happened because Bryan won the Smackdown Money in the Bank match in 2011. However, Bryan was not the original intended winner of the match, and the decision was made hours before showtime to have Bryan be victorious. According to Bryan on the DVD, the three choices for possibilities of the winner of the match came down to Bryan, Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes, with Barrett being the frontrunner to win the briefcase. However, Alberto Del Rio was already set in stone to win the Raw Money in the Bank match, and the creative team thought that having Barrett (or even Rhodes) win the Smackdown match was too similar to Del Rios win, so they decided to give the briefcase to the only babyface on their short list: Bryan. Obviously, WWE didnt have any plans for Bryan post-briefcase win, as he went on a losing streak with no real storyline after the Pay Per View.
