10 WWE Events Out Of Daniel Bryan's Control That Made His Career
3. Royal Rumble 2014 And Wrestlemaina XXX
Everybody knows about this one. The Pittsburgh fans absolutely revolted against WWE for not including Daniel Bryan in the 2014 Royal Rumble, and the ensuing events led WWE creative to completely re-write Wrestlemania to have Bryan wrestle Triple H (which was originally supposed to be CM Punks spot), and then win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Randy Orton in a Triple Threat match that also involved Batista (who was originally supposed to take the title from Orton in the main event in a singles match). Bryan was originally scheduled to wrestle Sheamus (again) at Wrestlemania, with Sheamus turning heel to join The Autority. What people may not know is that Bryan had a premonition that the crowd will not like the fact that he wasnt going to be in the Rumble. Bryan kicked off the show in a match against Bray Wyatt, and was so over with the crowd, that he went backstage and told people that the crowd will not like it when he doesnt show up in the Rumble. What he didnt realize was just how much the crowd would hate it. Bryan said that nobody has ever booed Rey Mysterio (how could they?), but Rey was the biggest heel in the WWE that night.
