10 WWE Face/Heel Turns That Must Happen In 2021
8. The Street Profits Turn Heel
The Street Profits spent almost all of 2020 as tag team champions, holding both the Raw and Smackdown Tag Team Championships as the year progressed. While their reigns were significant in length, they were neutered by repetitive booking, nonsensical comedy and underwhelming content inside the ring. In addition to this, the constant exposure that Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins got on the mic was good at first but quickly grew stale without live crowd reactions.
Their reigns were so long in a bereft title scene and they run the risk of being a source of irritation for a significant amount of the fanbase. Since they've already accomplished so much as faces, it feels like the right time to test them out as heels which should hopefully develop their mic skills even further.
While many might think that Montez Ford should be pushed as a singles star, it doesn't feel like the right time to break up the Street Profits considering the unexplored potential and lack of depth in the tag team division currently. There will be time to push both men individually but for now, they should turn heel together.
