Let's kick things off with a bit of controversy. It's needless to say that since Mizdow started playing the part of The Miz's stunt double that he has been an unadulterated success. A surprising one at that. Looking at the state of play today, it is hard to see how Mizdow could continue the magic now it looks like his 'superior' has been written off television for some time. What made Mizdow great was the complete and utter farcical nature of what he did during matches and backstage. People loved seeing Miz with egg on his face and Damien helped provide that. It's really hard to work out how this could work without The Awesome One. You would like to think that it could work, but it's hard to see past him simply latching onto another superstar and mimicking their every move. That could get boring very, very quickly if they put him with the wrong guy. It would be a crying shame to see the Mizdow character fizzle out into nothingness. Changing things up now would prevent that from happening. There is a sense of unfinished business when it comes to Damien and his Sandow 'Intellectual Saviour of the Masses' gimmick. Not too many people would complain if that made a return and ascended to the top of the card...
