10 WWE Factions That Went From Awful To Awesome

8. La Resistance

La Resistance got its start feuding with the makeshift team of Scott Steiner and Test and in cheap heat angles like interrupting Lillian Garcia while she sang “America the Beautiful”. It looked like La Resistance was heading to the bottom of the card. However, it wasn’t long before they added gold and a new member.

A month after their debut, Sylvain Grenier and Rene Dupree defeated Rob Van Dam and Kane for their first WWE Tag Team Championship. Rob Conway then joined the team after helping La Resistance in a match with The Dudley Boyz.

Things then looked bleak after Dupree was drafted to SmackDown. However, Grenier and Conway gelled quickly as a team and captured La Resistance’s second tag team championship in a big upset over Chris Benoit and Edge. The team went on to win two more tag team championships, giving La Resistance a total of four tag team championships.
