10 WWE Factions That Went From Awful To Awesome

6. Too Cool

The world of wrestling wasn’t set on fire when Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor formed the tag team Too Much. They were an undercard act that feuded with other underachieving tag teams like The Oddities and The Disciples of Apocalypse. However, that all changed with a reboot and an addition to the team.

Christopher and Taylor transformed into over the top hip hop characters called ‘Grandmaster Sexay’ and ‘Scotty 2 Hotty’. The team was renamed Too Cool and was joined by Rikishi. Their unique in-ring style and post-match dance celebrations made them one of the most popular factions in WWE.

Too Cool’s immense popularity pushed them to the top of the card. They feuded against The Radicalz and D-Generation X while joining forces with top stars like The Rock and Mick Foley. Also, Rikishi was able to capture the Intercontinental Championship while Christopher and Taylor took home the WWE Tag Team Championship.
