10 WWE Feuds Doomed From The Start

Sibling versus sibling feuds have been a part of WWE for as long as there has been a WWE. Owen versus Bret. Shane versus Stephanie. Matt versus Jeff. Given enough time, it's pretty much impossible for a pair of brothers or sisters not to end up hating one another.

The problem with Nikki versus Brie, however, was that it seemed to lack the same, years-of-resentment type build-up. There wasn't really any good reason for them to be at each other's throats, particularly since both appeared to have a mutual enemy in the shape of Stephanie McMahon.

To compound things, WWE itself took the unusual step of openly announcing to fans that this feud wasn't to be taken seriously when they had Jerry Springer come out to the ring to moderate a family court-style mediation.

Given all of that, it's hardly surprising that the whole storyline ended up being a complete dud. You can't say stuff like "I wish you died in the womb" after such a weak beginning. It just comes off contrived.
