10 WWE Feuds That Flat Out Sucked

8. Vince McMahon Vs. Bobby Lashley (2007)

One can't blame WWE for trying to recapture the success of Mr. McMahon vs. Steve Austin countless times since the feud ended. They tried it with Ric Flair in McMahon's place shortly after the first brand extension, and WWE gave it another go with Bobby Lashley in 2007. There was just one problem: Lashley wasn't Stone Cold.

Paul Heyman's head must have been spinning when Vince made himself ECW Champion at Backlash. Bobby Lashley had been a million miles away from extreme standards like The Sandman, Raven and Justin Credible anyway, but this was something else. McMahon as ECW Champ was a total aberration and should never have happened.

The feud between Lashley and McMahon dragged on and on through pay-per-views like Judgment Day and One Night Stand. At the latter, Bobby recaptured the title in a Street Fight that, whilst mildly enjoyable, was not on par with McMahon's prior efforts.

Give this one a miss, especially if you have ECW nostalgia goggles on.
