10 WWE Feuds That Flat Out Sucked

Somebody who worked on Rikishi's "I did it for The Rock" promo in 2000 should have warned against using racism again in 2003. Sadly, Triple H was cast as a xenophobic World Heavyweight Champion who believed "people like" Booker T shouldn't be allowed near the gold. Wow, we've come a long way.

The storyline (designed to build towards a WrestleMania XIX match) might have made some sense had Booker not already been a World Champion in WCW. By saying he didn't have what it took because of his skin colour, Triple H was coming across as an out-of-touch idiot for more reasons than just because he didn't watch Nitro in 2000 (though nobody can blame him for that.)

Seriously though, it was also disgraceful of WWE to hint that Booker spent time in jail because he was black. Quite how this was supposed to do anything other than make fans feel uncomfortable is unclear. It surely would've been better to focus on the fact people embraced Booker because he was a superb worker with obvious charisma.
