10 WWE Feuds That Must Happen In 2017

8. Finn Balor Vs. Kevin Owens

This seems like a natural battle that must go down when Finn Balor is ready to return from injury, and it has the potential to be one of the best feuds of 2017.

Balor won the Universal Championship on Raw a few months back, but unfortunately badly injured his shoulder in the process and had to relinquish the belt. While a rivalry against Seth Rollins—the man who put him out of action—would have seemed like a natural fit upon Balor’s return, due to a face turn by The Architect, that could make things a bit messy. Maybe they could have the two show some mutual respect on screen and move on for now. They can always get back to it down the road.

Balor should be out to get his gold back by facing off against Owens immediately. That may finally get more of the audience to boo KO if they go this route. Hardcore fans respect both men, but with a healthy dose of sympathy following Balor upon his return, he may help really get Owens over as a hateable heel, which the company hasn’t quite been able to accomplish so far.

Picturing these two in the main event of a pay-per-view would be pretty incredible, as both men felt like they would never make the company at all a few years ago. Still, expect it to happen multiple times in 2017.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
