10 WWE Feuds You Didn't Realise Were Shockingly One-Sided

Trish Stratus 8-3 Mickie James.

When Mickie James debuted in 2005, she was either Trish Stratus's biggest fan, in love with Trish Stratus, or a psychotic stalker who just couldn't leave Trish Stratus alone... it all depends on the week you were watching Raw, because WWE chopped and changed their relationship so much right up until 2006.

Mickie was in a few multi-woman matches with Trish, until she started challenging for the WWE Women's Championship. James lost at New Year's Revolution 2006, but turned heel and stole the belt from Stratus at WrestleMania 22.

Trish won their rematch at Backlash by disqualification, then beat Mickie in their last one-on-one match on Raw later that year.

Trish racks up most of her wins in tag team matches, where WWE was keen on having the face team go over most times. Even 12 years after their most famous feud, babyface Stratus went over heel James; most famously at Evolution, where Trish and Lita defeated Mickie and Alicia Fox.

It all comes down to the fact that Trish was WWE's greatest female export right up until other contenders for that crown arrived during the women's revolution. Mickie carved out a legacy of her own, but she was just a part of the illustrious Stratus story.

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
