10 WWE Feuds You Didn't Realise Were Shockingly One-Sided
4. Asuka Vs. Charlotte Flair
Asuka 15-10 Charlotte Flair.
"WWE builds up Asuka just to feed her to Charlotte Flair."
If you're somebody who still thinks that: it's time to guess again.
The first time they came up against each other was in the good old Mixed Match Challenge. Why did they get rid of that? Asuka and The Mix ended up winning the whole thing, then the Empress of Tomorrow won the Royal Rumble match and came up against WWE's female final boss at WrestleMania 34.
This is the match people remember because Asuka's 914 day undefeated streak came to a disappointing end against Flair. Don't let it tarnish your memories of these two facing each other, or you'll miss a lot of Asuka wins.
Sure, it took Asuka until 2018 to get her win back, but after that she only got stronger. Not only did she defeat both Flair and Becky Lynch to win the SmackDown Women's Championship, she started teaming with Kairi Sane and notching up the wins against The Queen.
The Kabuki Warriors upped Asuka's numbers in a big way, then she either teamed with Charlotte, or traded wins and losses with her. Good old WWE and its 50/50 booking...
Establishing these two stars has been quite the balancing act, but, with Flair constantly taking Women's titles off people, it's a surprise that she's only done it to Asuka once.
