10 WWE Finishers That Don't Make Sense
8. Bitter End
Pete Dunne has come of age as a vicious slugger who revels in contorting his unsuspecting victim's body parts.
His record setting 685 day run as WWE's United Kingdom Champion established him as a force that could obliterate any opponent that stood before him on any given night, yet he still hasn't found himself rubbing elbows (or twisting digits) with the likes of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on a weekly basis.
It's hard to fault Dunne for having a technically proficient move-set, that's also equipped with a few flashy crowd poppers. However, his Bitter End finisher does deserve a bit of dissecting.
The move looks powerful enough, but the intricacy that is required to spin his opponent - after he has launched them into the air from a pump handle position - and then catch them in time to drill them into the mat, must be a tad difficult to execute night after night. It also looks a little too pretty and that definitely clashes with the character Dunne has crafted.
Complexity isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it can bloat a move that would serve to jolt the crowd into bursting from their seats if it had some of its fat trimmed.
When you go by the moniker of 'Bruiserweight' surely a bone-shattering strike or simple (yet catastrophic) slam would force the crowd to stand up and take notice of someone who has the potential to bully the entire company.
