10 WWE Firsts We'll See In 2017

2. Brock Lesnar Beats Goldberg

Goldberg shocked the world by returning to WWE this autumn, and then proceeded to shock it further by vanquishing the Beast Incarnate in less than two minutes at Survivor Series. Some may have believed Goldberg would beat Lesnar, but nobody expected it to be the one-sided annihilation that we got.

With that victory, Goldberg now stands 2-0 up against Lesnar, and with both men entered into the 2017 Royal Rumble the assumption is that there will be a third match between the two further down the line. Will this come at WrestleMania? That would be likely.

If the match does happen, one should expect Brock Lesnar to come out on top against Goldberg for the first time in his career. It is unthinkable that Lesnar would lose three matches in a row against anyone, let alone a man who isn’t going to be sticking around much longer.

The Goldberg/Lesnar saga will end with Lesnar on top.
