8. Kevin Thorn & Ariel In ECW
WWE.comIf you forget who Kevin Thorn is you're probably not alone. He was a short-lived vampire character on WWE's ECW brand that was paired with a hot woman named Ariel played by Shelly Martinez. Part of the reason they created the Thorn/Ariel pairing was because ECW was on Syfy and they had asked WWE to create some characters that might cater to the Syfy audience. He was a part of ECW for most of 2006 and into 2007 although he was never given a significant push. If you looked at him as a worker, he was a guy that was capable of having good matches. The problem was that the gimmick was so over the top that fans never really bought into it. Perhaps I merely liked it because I thought Ariel did a great job of looking like a crazy vampire woman. She's easy on the eyes too! When you can have a guy/girl pairing that works that well together you need to capitalize on it, but instead they just faded away.
