Seth Rollins was the smartest man in Saudi Arabia at the climax of his Greatest Royal Rumble Intercontinental Title defence.

Springboarding in from the outside to snatch the title from the outstretched fingers of Finn Bálor, 'The Kingslayer' left 'The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia' with the belt he arrived with. It ultimately followed form with the rest of the card, though Rollins' painful sacrifices were far greater than those elsewhere on the card.

In throwing Seth, Finn, Samoa Joe and The Miz into a rather dangerous contest on a rather meaningless card, WWE risked causing physical harm to four of their best for extremely minimum return. On the surface, only a minor cut to Finn Bálor will have left any kind of scar on any of the performers, with Joe in particular twice in leaning on his experience to stop potentially blown spots with the ladder from unravelling. The saves summed up the match - robustly professional and believably worked.
