10 WWE Hall Of Famers Used Underwhelmingly In Later Years
1. Mick Foley (2016)
The Brand Extension Redux needed a hook to win over lapsed fans, thus Foley and Daniel Bryan were brought in as credible, popular executives for running the opposed shows. While Bryan has done well for himself on SmackDown, with a memorable confrontation with The Miz as a true highlight, Foley on Raw has been a colossal letdown.
Whether he's just not comfortable with the dialogue or the emotions he's written to show, Foley doesn't feel like the old fun Foley that could cut loose and be the voice of the fan. Of course, since many of his segments take place with a certain performer that isn't exactly an improv master herself, there's a good chance he's boxed into thoughtless dialogue as a rule. Either way, it's not the Foley everyone remembers.
