10 WWE Horrors That Took Years Off Your Life

People are still wondering why WWE thought any of this was a good idea!

What bad wrestling moments caused sleepless nights for you?

Maybe you're the kind of fan who chuckles whenever things go wrong, or palms off WWE's worst decisions by default. After all, this is just entertainment, right? The train rolls on week after week, so things will pick up eventually anyway. Or, perhaps you're the kind of person who takes it personally when the market leader shaves time off everyone's lives by booking some of the most outright stressful content known to man.

A lot of this is lighthearted, obviously. Nobody reading this will actually shake a fist at WWE when the Grim Reaper comes. 'I'd still be alive if only Baron Corbin hadn't been covered in dog food and Natalya stopped passing gas!'. That's hardly going to happen, but it is fun to look back at some moments that make people wonder...why? Why was any of this considered a solid plan for TV?!

There are moments from 2000-2021 in here, so variety is king. Bad gimmick changes, appalling storylines that made next to no sense, angles that sent wrestlers scurrying to come up with their own creative and more. It's all here, and it'll have you shaking your head in disbelief.

10. Natalya Can’t Stop Farting

Natalya had just come off a hot run with Beth Phoenix as the 'Divas Of Doom' when WWE decided she'd be best off having the hot runs instead. No joke. Vince McMahon decreed that Nattie should go from levelling up quality in the women's division to farting all over the place and making everyone awkward behind the curtain.

Shockingly, this didn't get over with fans in 2012.

People were baffled by McMahon's decision-making. How could he take someone who'd been working stormers next to the 'Glamazon' and decide that passing wind was the way to go?! That'll put butts in seats (or pegs on noses). Right, enough joking for one entry, because this writer is falling into the trap of playing along with awful creative.

Mercifully, WWE had the sense to stop this madness quickly before it damaged Natalya's career beyond repair. Her gas issues plagued TV for a few months, then everybody moved on once Vinnie Mac stopped finding it so funny. Christ, and people said Vince Russo needed an editor!
