10 WWE Icons Who Had Totally Forgettable TNA Runs

1. Jim Neidhart

Very few tag teams can claim to be as influential as The Hart Foundation. Bret Hart's lineage is praised by all and sundry, but Jim Neidhart's powerhouse approach was every bit as vital to their greatness as 'The Hitman's finesse. His goatee and unmistakable laugh added character and personality to the team, and though he never had much of a run as a solo star, he left behind a hell of a legacy due to his work throughout these years.

2009 is considered one of the best years in TNA's history, and Jay Lethal spent a few weeks towards the end of the year issuing an open challenge. 90s Native American gimmick Tatanka would answer the call, as would Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart in what was his only appearance in the Impact Zone.

If you were expecting the high-impact spinebusters and shoulder tackles that Neidhart made his forte, you'll be disappointed, but 'The Anvil' squashed Lethal in 90 seconds nevertheless. This was one of Jim's last broadcast matches, as he only featured on TV two more times (in the HLW and NWA in 2013), before his passing in 2018.
