10 WWE Icons Who Had Totally Forgettable TNA Runs
4. Rikishi
Rikishi was one of the more underrated players in the Attitude Era. Best known for his dance moves with Too Cool, his fun array of moves, and unforgettable look, his lovable work in this period means he will always be remembered fondly. That and his gigantic ass. Obviously.
His run in TNA will be looked at far less affectionately. Debuting with 'Bootylicious' written across the front of his ring gear (just in case you thought we were kidding about the whole 'ass' side of things), Rikishi would appear as Junior Fatu. He was brought into the company for a match with Christian as part of his feud with Samoa Joe. This debut, which included a run-in from AJ Styles and both men receiving Stink Faces, would be as good as it got for the big man.
Fatu would go on to take part in one of the most nonsensical and stupid matches of all time, the Reverse Battle Royal, at Bound For Glory in 2007. He then cut one of the worst promos of his life a week later, in which he called Robert Roode "Rick Rude" and then forgot the name of the tournament he was about to enter. He actually defeated Roode in the 1st round of the Fight for the Right tournament, but wouldn't appear again over a money dispute. His whole, completely forgettable run lasted just 5 weeks.
