10 WWE Ideas EVEN Vince McMahon Thought Were Too Sleazy

7. Blading, General

Vince McMahon cannot abide the blade.

Bret Hart loved it so much that he named his kid after it.

And so began a dance of deception as old as time itself, in which Bret, so skilled at the dark art, was able to fool Vince McMahon twice. At WrestleMania VIII, Bret did that which Ric Flair failed to do, and bladed away from the incriminating glare of the camera. Again, at In Your House: Season's Beatings, Hart bladed in his match with the British Bulldog to no reprisal. His sleight of hand was so deft that it obscured from Vince the very convenient placement of the very shallow cut, which realistically could only materialise from a blade-job. On this basis, Bret could have shagged Linda, claimed she tripped, fell and landed on his d*ck, and Vince wouldn't order him to pay the fine.

Vince hated the practise, and deems it tawdry today, preferring instead the concussive blunt force trauma that is trained killer Brock Lesnar's massive, massive elbow as a means of forcibly extracting blood.

Vince McMahon cannot abide the blade.
