At first glance of seeing The Hammer's name on this list, it might seem questionable. After all, Valentine wasn't a super babyface, was never incredibly popular with the fans, nor was he a main event player, and he certainly never wore the WWE Championship.

On the other hand, he was one of the first Intercontinental Champions, his career inside the squared circle spanned over twenty years (with over a decade in WWE), and he has been a WWE Hall Of Famer since 2004.

Plenty of superstars with much less of an impact have been recreated as toys by Mattel.

Looking at the current lineup of stars from the 1980s that made it as a Mattel action figure, Valentine surely deserves one. Superstars like his Tito Santana, Akeem, and Big John Studd have all been produced by Mattel already. Hell, even Nikolai Volkoff has an action figure and The Bushwhackers have two!

While The Hammer may not have the appeal as some of the heavy hitters still to come on this list, he was a more than solid mid-carder that had a firm grasp on his position inside WWE for over ten years. A regular sight in the World Wrestling Federation, it surely can only be a matter of time until we see a Greg Valentine Mattel.
