The Dynamite Kid was perhaps the most innovative and influential wrestler of the 1980s. Bret Hart always credits the real-life Tom Billington as the greatest wrestler he ever saw, noting his trailblazing moves and abilities. That's high praise indeed coming from The Hitman. Along with Davey Boy Smith, The British Bulldogs were one of the greatest tag teams of all-time.

The duo were first captured in action figure form in the LJN line from the mid-1980s and later, years after retiring from the ring, Dynamite was produced as part of Jakks' line of Classic Superstars.

Mattel recently released a new action figure of Davey Boy Smith, circa 1991. Now that Davey's looks from 1991 and 1996/'97 (in the retired Legends series) have been captured, Mattel would be wise to produce a Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid set that represents their heyday as WWE Tag Team Champions.

With Mattel recently releasing some legendary tag teams as part of their Elite series such as The Nasty Boys, The Hart Foundation, and Money Inc., The British Bulldogs would be a great addition to the already stellar line-up of WWE Mattel action figures.
