10 WWE Legends Embarrassed By Their Own Matches

8. Triple H (WrestleMania XII)

Despite going on to become a 14-time World Champion, two-time Royal Rumble winner, King Of The Ring and more, Triple H may never forget his WrestleMania debut. It was a shocking display of sheer arrogance from The Ultimate Warrior, and it'd end up being the single worst match 'The Game' ever had on the big stage.

At least, at 99 seconds in length, it was short.

Triple H kinda' laughs this one off and makes jokes whenever he's asked about it today, but he must've been crushed at the time. He'd been presented as a future big deal since debuting in 1995. Then, Warrior waltzed back into the frame and made him look like a jobber on the biggest show of 1996.

It cannot be fun for Trips to roll back the years and reflect on a 'Mania debut as embarrassing as this one. He was a staunch traditionalist who had grown up idolising the WWF, and now he's one of the most powerful men in the biz. 'Mania XII feels out of place between fanboy-ish dreams and industry power.
