When fans think of the World Wrestling Federation in the '90s, Razor Ramon has to come to mind - the character portrayed by Scott Hall though, not Rick Bogner.

Debuting in the Summer of '92, The Bad Guy quickly became a big star, debuting on Pay-Per-View in two straight main events, Survivor Series '92 and Royal Rumble '93.

Hall missed his first chance to compete in the Royal Rumble match in 1993 because he was busy wrestling for a singles title in the evening's earlier contests. It was the same story the next year, then again the following year, and the year after that.

After losing to WWF Champion Bret Hart at Royal Rumble '93, Hall soon became a staple in the Intercontinental title scene. Razor successfully defended the IC title against I.R.S. at Royal Rumble '94, but lost the championship at the next two Royal Rumbles, against Jeff Jarrett (1995) and Goldust (1996), respectively.

By the time Royal Rumble '97 came around, although the Fake Razor character (played by Rick Bogner) made an appearance, Scott Hall was down in WCW, changing the business as a founding father of the nWo.

While he was a regular presence at the Royal Rumble events of the mid-90s, Razor Ramon is perhaps the most famous legend to never participate in the 30-man match.
