2. Shane McMahon

Despite being pro-wrestling royalty himself as the first-born son to Vincent Kennedy McMahon, Shane-O-Mac has never participated in the Royal Rumble match.

In the early years of the event, Shane could be seen refereeing the contest from outside the ring. As time went on, Shane was introduced as a television persona that was first used to broadcast Sunday Night Heat on MTV. Eventually like his father before him, Shane found himself jumping into the ring on special occasion and would actually go on to perform semi-regularly.

Despite wrestling multiple matches at WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and other Pay-Per-View events, the Boy Wonder never wrestled at the Royal Rumble.

In a situation similar to the Brooklyn Brawler, Shane was a consistent presence backstage in WWE for the last 30 years, minus a 7 year absence that ended this past February. Considering the amount of Royal Rumble matches Shane's seen come before his very eyes, it's amazing to think he was never called upon to participate. Even if you only count the Rumbles that took place after Shane became a regular on-screen personality in 1998 but before he left in 2009, that still leaves over a decade worth of Royal Rumbles that have taken place that didn't feature Vince's only son.
