Longtime WWE-only fans should remember Skip of the Body Donnas, but the more ardent professional wrestling fans know him as Chris Candido.

Candido arrived in the World Wrestling Federation in mid-1995 as part of the annual influx of new talent that occurs just after WrestleMania. Paired with his real-life girlfriend Tammy Sytch, the duo were given the characters of Skip and Sunny, The Body Donnas. As obnoxious health and fitness gurus, Skip, a gifted in-ring worker, started out as a singles competitor with Sunny as his manager and, together, received quite a bit of television time.

After failing to catch-on as a singles star, Skip was moved into a tag team with new Body Donna, Zip (aka Tom Prichard). Although The Body Donnas challenged for the Tag Team Championships at Royal Rumble '96, they were unsuccessful and neither Body Donna competed in the 30-man battle royal later in the evening. By the time the 1997 Rumble rolled around, Candido had left the WWF and returned to ECW.

Though Candido would make a few more sporadic appearances on WWE television in 1997 (wrestling as Chris Candido, not Skip), the talented athlete never made it into the Royal Rumble match prior to his untimely passing in 2005.
