10 WWE Legends Who Ruled Suplex City Before Brock Lesnar
2. Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle is, and always has been, a wrestling machine. He was an amazing amateur wrestler, and it took him very little time to transition into a successful professional wrestler while wrestling for WWE. Although his finishing moves were the Angle Slam, the Ankle Lock, and the Crossface Chickenwing, Angle also used a variety of Suplexes as his signature moves. Angle used three different Suplex forms than any other: the Overhead Belly-to-Belly, the standard Back Suplex (which hed sometimes execute from the second rope), and of course, the German Suplex. In the latter case, hed sometimes use several in a row, and on rare occasions, he even went as high as five consecutive German Suplexes. Of course, Angle also became famous for using his Belly-to-Belly Suplex onto or through objects, as demonstrated by how he Suplexed Shane McMahon through a glass panel at King of the Ring 2000. It takes a special kind of talent to take a move as graceful and technical as an overhead belly-to-belly Suplex, and apply it in a hardcore setting to perfect effect. But Kurt Angle is that special talent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HB4qOI7xxn0 Should Kurt Angle ever get inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame, his tribute video will feature the following things: making people tap out to his Ankle Lock, winning so many championships and awards, and how he Suplexed his way to the WWF Championship on several occasions. If youve ever wondered how Brock Lesnar got to be the mayor of Suplex City, he learned from the best there ever was at Suplexing in Kurt Angle.
