Theres a reason he was called the Human Suplex Machine for so many years: Tazz used so many different Suplex variations throughout his career that there couldnt possibly a more appropriate nickname for him. Taz was one of the first wrestlers who brought an MMA-like influence to his character and wrestling style. He preferred using a wide variety of Suplexes as signature moves, before knocking out his opponents with his Tazmission/Kata-hajime submission hold. As for being mayor of Suplex City; does Taz really qualify? Here are the different Suplex variations that he has used throughout his career, all of them to great effect: Head-and-arm Tazmission-Plex (Half Nelson Choke) Overhead Belly-to-Belly Half-Nelson Capture German Dragon Exploder Tiger Virtually all of these different variations from the top rope And many, many more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rq_1yXbhU0 It shouldnt be a surprise that he was one of the most successful wrestlers in ECW history. The Human Suplex Machine brought a degree of technical wrestling to a promotion dominated by hardcore, weapons-based wrestling. He was the antithesis of what some external viewers would expect of a hardcore wrestler: he wore a singlet instead of dirty street clothes, had martial arts experience from before his wrestling career, and he made up for his small stature by throwing everyone else around the ring with a wide variety of impressive Suplexes. During his in-ring career, Tazz was, for all intents and purposes, the mayor of Suplex City who wasnt afraid of using his skills to get his point across. What do you think? Was there someone we missed who should've ruled Suplex City at one point? Let us know in the comments section below.
