10 WWE Legends You Won't Believe Are STILL Wrestling

9. The Barbarian

The Wardlow
WWE

The Powers of Pain are back, baby!

At 64 years of age (!), the Barbarian is still at it, and he's still in remarkable condition.

He was sorely underrated, conflated, for whatever reason, with the lumbering hosses of his era. What's to blame? The cartoonish look? The lack of a consistent singles push?

Whatever the reason, it's wrong. His match alongside Haku against the Rockers, at VII, was one of the better bouts in the early years of WrestleMania. Barbarian was on awesome form. In one great spot, demonstrating his explosive power and dramatic timing, he turned both Rockers inside out with a double lariat less than a second after they kipped up in tandem after a double elbow drop to Haku. He was a dynamic beast more than capable of turning himself inside out when it was time to feed Marty Jannetty's hurricanrana.

He was also a great hand in WCW, although the nWo dated his Faces of Fear act alongside Haku/Meng - which was still great value for a fun, meaty TV match. In addition to working the Rock N' Rolls, the Powers of Pain also worked the Headbangers in May of this year.

These guys are doing more dates than Luke Gallows in 2023!
