On paper, putting two of undoubtedly the strongest Sports Entertainers ever to bring the art form to life in the middle of a squared-circle on The Grandest Stage of Them All should guarantee you a must-see moment that will be immortalised from the second the bell rings.

Yet, in the case of a certain Phenom taking on a Face that Runs the Place, the fact this match happened just too darn late in the day took a painful amount of shine off the end product. Fans had been clamouring for the mighty John Cena to clash with The Undertaker for what felt like a decade, with the two undoubtedly acting as some of WWE's last real box office attractions who hadn't really locked horns despite spending a significant amount of time under the company banner at the same time.

By the time the trigger was finally pulled on the night of WrestleMania 34, post-Elias swerve, fans were still excited to see the pair duke it out, but the actual in-ring performance given to them, particularly from a battered 'Taker, left a lot to be desired.
