10 WWE Matches So Goofy They're Actually Great
6. Jailhouse Match (SummerSlam 1991)
Two icons of law enforcement from opposite sides of the border collided in WWF's first and only Jailhouse Match, where the loser would have to spend the night in jail.
In a match that featured Jimmy Hart's most ineffective run-in ever, not to mention a misfire with The Mountie's dreaded shock-stick, The Boss Man bested his foe and sent him off to jail, where he was handcuffed, fingerprinted, and locked up, complaining all along the way in decidedly non-Canadian fashion.
But there were two things that put this match over the top from goofy to great. The first was the dynamite commentary by Bobby the Brain, Gorilla Monsoon, and Rowdy Roddy Piper.
The second was that the follow-through on the stipulation was actually funny. The constant cries of "I'm The Mountie!" while he was processed were great. (The easily avoidable gay joke that came later, less so.)
