10 WWE Matches That Changed Your Mind About Wrestlers You Hated

6. Shelton Benjamin Vs. Triple H - Monday Night Raw

As part of The World's Greatest Tag Team, Shelton Benjamin won two WWE Tag Team Championships with Charlie Haas and provided backup for Kurt Angle. Benjamin was seen as the more talented of the pair, but when the team was split up in the 2004 draft lottery, many wondered how he would fare as a singles competitor. Benjamin immediately silenced any critics the following week in a match with Triple H. In one of the best Raw bouts of the year, Benjamin dominated "The Game," proving that he would take the Raw brand by storm. Thought Triple H fought back, Benjamin picked up the win with a roll-up after a Stinger Splash. Benjamin would follow up with a victory over Ric Flair, and soon afterwards, he defeated Chris Jericho for the Intercontinental Title. No one who saw the Raw match was surprised by his ascent.
