10 WWE Matches That Were Spoiled Before They Happened

1. The Demon Vs Andrade (Super Showdown)

The Demon never loses and Andrade never f*cking wins - WWE have gone one better than bringing back Attitude Era legends for their latest Saudi Arabia show by practically putting the result in the pre-match graphic.

The philosophy hasn't been hidden on the problematic patter pay-per-views thus far. WWE threw so much sh*t at the shows in 2018 that just about enough of it stuck, with a weird expectation created the company would be required to produce an event that (in their own words) is "the equivalent to exceeding" WrestleMania. A cheeky claim considering how much stock they rightfully put in the 'Show Of Shows', but one can assume it's been a long time since Vince McMahon lost sleep over telling the odd promotional porky.

This isn't to cast aspersions on what has every chance of being a fabulous encounter. Bálor and 'El Idolo' have engaged in blue brand bangers already, but WWE only seem to have one speed when Finn dons the paint - very, very quick. Andrade on his best day hasn't appeared main roster ready for a singles title despite his incredible efforts in NXT, and The Demon's first WWE loss is the closest WWE currently have to replicating The Undertaker's famous streak.

There are times when it's okay to promise the powerful paint, but this is pointlessly predictable.
