10. Royal Rumble 2005 Where Vince McMahon Got Injured Telling Guys What To Do
http://youtu.be/4QLe_tAQ2Rs The ending of the 2005 Royal Rumble match didn't go as planned. It was supposed to be a win for Batista without the restart that happened. Batista was trying to give John Cena a Batista Bomb, Cena powered out of it and they went crashing into the ropes. The finish was supposed to be Batista holding onto the top rope while Cena hit the floor. However, they messed it up. Instead of Batista holding the ropes, he ended up falling over the top too and they landed at about the same time. There was no clear winner. In order to kill time, the Raw refs raised Batista's hand while the Smackdown refs raised Cena's hand. That led to Vince McMahon coming out. He charged into the ring, but when he did so he hit his knee against the apron and when he tried to stand he just collapsed. McMahon ended up sitting there on his ass against the ropes while the refs tried to tell him who won. The announcers had no idea what to say or do as McMahon must have been in excruciating pain since his injury was a torn quadriceps muscle. The match was restarted thanks to the seated McMahon. Batista nailed Cena with a Spinebuster and then tossed Cena over the top to win the Royal Rumble. The result really didn't matter because both guys got major title shots and won them anyway, but we'll never forget the sight of McMahon giving orders from a seated position. A reason why it's considered a farce is because it looked absolutely ridiculous to see Vince McMahon sitting in the ring after he tore his quad and he was instructing these guys what to do.
