10 WWE Matches We Thought We Wanted To See (Until We Saw Them)
9. Super ShowDown: The Undertaker Vs. Goldberg
Goldberg and The Undertaker were two of the biggest stars during the Monday Night Wars. However, the legendary figures' paths never crossed while they were in their respective primes.
Despite the fact that both men were now well into their 50s, most fans were still eager to see two of professional wrestling's biggest icons finally share the ring in a one-on-one match, which they ended up doing at Super ShowDown (2019).
The face-off between the two was a surreal moment for longtime fans. Of course, things went downhill pretty rapidly from there. The match was nothing short of a disaster.
There were several botches throughout the contest including Goldberg failing to tuck his head during a tombstone piledriver. Moreover, the former WCW megastar also botched his own signature move, the Jackhammer, and nearly dropped 'The Deadman' on his head.
In truth, it's very fortunate that both men avoided suffering any serious injuries, in what turned out to be one of the worst main event matches in recent memory.
