10 WWE Mid-Carders Who Never Get The Credit They Deserve

1. The 1-2-3 Kid/X-Pac

X-Pac Shane McMahon

Within a three-year span (1998-2001), the dynamic X-Pac character went from being super hip to stale, one many fans wished to see disappear. How else could anyone explain why such a talented worker coined his own term? 'X-Pac Heat' is not a compliment, but it isn't deserved either.

As both The 1-2-3 Kid and X-Pac, Sean Waltman defied a lack of hulking muscle mass to become of the WWF/WWE's most valuable in-ring assets. Not only did he take Bret Hart to his limits during a superb match on Raw in 1994, the same man (under a more rebellious, D-Generation X led guise) helped steer the ship during bouts against new WWF Champ The Rock in 1998 and Shane McMahon in 1999.

Even when forming 'odd couple' tandems with the likes of Kane, the undeniable talents of Waltman shone through. He's definitely one wrestler that became much easier for fans to appreciate once he was gone from the promotion.

The WWE Hall Of Fame beckons for the man, and that's true for both his 1-2-3 Kid and X-Pac characters. Few have offered so much without genuine appreciation.
