9. Chris Jericho Vs. Chris Benoit - Royal Rumble 2001
At the height of their careers, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho were two of the best all-around wrestlers the industry had ever seen. Either of them could get into the ring with the likes of Mark Henry and put on a watchable match. That's talent. So pitting them against each other seems like a natural recipe for success in hindsight and, luckily, WWE remembered how well these guys worked together in WCW and decided to toss them into the ring together with a ladder. Once the Walls of Jericho was locked in on Benoit at the top of the ladder, it was going to be a herculean task trying to one-up this performance. And let's be honest, even the best Royal Rumble isn't going to hold up as well to repeat viewings as Jericho vs. Benoit.
