10 WWE Moments That Weren't Supposed To Happen

9. Security Stops Rob Gronkowski (WrestleMania 33)

WrestleMania is the single biggest date on the WWE calendar, so it makes sense that security is tight. At 'Mania 33, it was perhaps a bit too tight. During the pre-show André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, a jobsworth staff member manhandled then-New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski like she would any fan jumping the barrier.

WWE refs had to sprint in and tell her Rob was part of the show. Oops.

Gronkowski's face was a picture as this Terminator-like security bad ass grabbed him stiffly by the upper body and tried to strong-arm him back over the barricade. He wasn't sure what to do, and his entourage decked out in Gronk and Mojo Rawley merch just stood there helpless before the referees rode to Rob's rescue.

This is something you can still watch on the WWE Network version of the show. It's slightly surprising the company haven't edited that moment out of the broadcast, because watching Gronkowski's confusion almost spoils his run-in.
